All is well that ends well

December 2021 – What a strange year 2021 has been… Like so many in the art world we had hoped that 2021 would free us from the restrictions caused by the pandemic, but the first eight months turned out to be a continuation of 2020. Being able to only present the latest works from our artists in virtual settings was painful and did not do justice to their hard work.

Fortunately come September the situation changed with KunstRAI Art Amsterdam taking place. In the months to follow we were very happy to meet up with many more eager art lovers and collectors in Lausanne, Stockholm and Hamburg. The results of the two last fairs exceeded all expectations, resulting in quite a few of our artists being made very happy just before the end of the year!

Red, Blue & White – homage to Bob Bonies

November 2021 – Renowned Dutch artist couple Nel Haringa and Fred Olijve have created a new series of cube sculptures, dedicated to their good friend and colleague-artist Bob Bonies. The new sculptures are unique complex three-dimensional constructions built from transparent, red, blue and opaque white acrylic elements, reminiscent of the colour scheme so often used by Bob Bonies in his paintings.

During the fifties and sixties of last century a new generation of artists emerged in The Netherlands, adding a new chapter to geometric abstract art. Artist such as Joost Baljeu, Bob Bonies, Ad Dekkers and Peter Struycken are of real significance in this field, and Haringa and Olijve are part of this chapter too, not only because of their oeuvre but also because of their personal ties with Baljeu and Bonies.

Next stop: the Lausanne Art Fair in Switzerland

October 2021 – After the very succesful KunstRAI Art Amsterdam art fair, the first contemporary art fair in a long time, we are very happy to return to the Lausanne Art Fair in Switzerland. It will be a pleasure to show the works of our artist again in this art loving city, our stand is ready and waiting for you in the south halls of Expo Beaulieu!

There are great new works on display by Freddie Soethout, Dieter Kränzlein, Rogan Brown, Olivier Julia, Eliza Kopec, Haringa + Olijve, Hedy Hempe, Hanneke Rijks and many more. Especially for collectors that do not have a lot of space left in their homes we have created a “Wall of Small”, with works of art not larger than 30 cm, and perhaps more pleasurable for your budget too…

We’re back, KunstRAI Art Amsterdam is on

September 2021 – After 18  (eighteen!) months without art fairs we are extremely excited to announce that KunstRAI Art Amsterdam will take place.  We look forward to meet with the many art lovers and collectors that we haven’t seen for way too long a period. The fair has moved from its regular place to the magnificent Europa hall, providing wide aisles and a ceiling which is a true architectural highlight.

At our stand you will find main staples from our portfolio such as works by Eliza Kopec, Olivier Julia, Haringa + Olijve, Michiel Jansen, Eef de Graaf, Freddie Soethout, Dieter Kränzlein, Rogan Brown and Vaughn Horsman. But we are also very happy to show newcomers such as Hedy Hempe and Hanneke Rijks. Join us from September 8-12!
